Network information
IP ranges, gateways, and DNS still live in a Visio file on a retired laptop. After a site add, the diagram and the live subnet disagree, and a new VLAN is documented in a ticket comment.
Hypervault stores network name, IP range, gateway, DNS, and the diagram in an encrypted EU vault, with permissions for network engineers and the MSP on that account.
Why store Network information in a digital vault
The diagram is older than the last change window
A new subnet never made the drawing. Network diagram plus IP range on the item should be updated together.
Gateway and mask are remembered, not recorded
A replacement firewall gets the wrong default route. Gateway, mask, and DNS as fields are the build sheet.
Type is unclear: LAN, WAN, guest, OT
Guest Wi-Fi and plant networks share a page. Network type on the item keeps blast radius obvious.
DNS is 'whatever the ISP set'
Outages follow a resolver change. DNS servers on the vault item are what you actually query.
Who uses this template
Network engineers
Record IP range, mask, gateway, and DNS per network with the current diagram.
MSP NOC teams
Open client network details from an EU vault instead of a dead Visio.
Security architects
See network type and ranges when scoping a review, under permissions.
Fields in this template
Keep every record complete and easy to find. Existing fields stay as they are; extras are added only when a vault item would otherwise be incomplete.

How it works in Hypervault
Create from the template
Add an item from the Network information template in your workspace.
Fill and attach
Complete the fields and attach supporting files where needed.
Share with the right roles
Give access only to the people who maintain or use this record.
