What started as a search for a simple solution turned into a mission to help companies take back control of their data—without the complexity.

    Our story

Built in Belgium. Inspired by everyday challenges.

The idea behind Hypervault was born out of frustration.

As digital professionals, we—Glenn Van Croonenborch and Thierry Dupont—were constantly handling passwords and confidential client data. But every tool we used felt like a patchwork. Too clunky. Too limited. And definitely not built for modern teams.

That's when the realisation hit: businesses don't just manage passwords. They handle contracts, access codes, API keys, license details, employee records—you name it. And there was no single, secure place to organise and share all that.

So we decided to build it ourselves. What began as a tool to make our own lives easier quickly grew into something much bigger.

"Managing passwords is just the surface—what's really at stake is a company's most valuable data."

    — Glenn Van Croonenborch, CEO Hypervault

    Our promise

We're committed to building tools that make it easy for teams to protect what matters most—without slowing them down. Simple. Secure. Built for people who just want it to work.

    Our mission

To create a protected environment where every team, in any organisation, can manage sensitive data without friction or confusion. From startups to agencies to enterprises—we're here to make security easier for everyone.

    Core Values

    Clarity equals control

We believe that control starts with clarity. Hypervault gives users a clear, real-time view of what's stored where, and who has access—so nothing gets lost, and no one is left guessing.

    Restless curiosity

We're not here to settle. Our team is always exploring what's next—testing, tweaking, and reinventing. That spirit of curiosity is what keeps us moving forward.

    We've been in your shoes

Our background is in agencies, so we've felt the pressure of last-minute password requests and disorganised client data. That lived experience drives our product decisions and keeps us focused on real-world needs.

    The Journey

    2018

    A problem worth solving

Glenn and Thierry needed a secure way to share client credentials. Existing tools didn't cut it. So they sketched out the first version of what would later become Hypervault.

    May 2019

    Instant market validation

They launched a simple MVP. Within 24 hours, 3,000 lifetime licenses were sold. The message was clear: other teams were struggling with the same problem.

    Dec 2020

    Building the foundation

Together with Sven Böhne and early investors, GTS Data bv was incorporated. Hypervault was rebuilt from the ground up—this time, with scale and security at the core.

    Jan 2021

    Government support

The project caught the attention of VLAIO, who backed us with a government grant to support innovation in Belgium.

    May 2021

    First users onboard

We opened our doors to a closed beta group. Feedback rolled in. Bugs were squashed. Features refined.

    Jun 2022

    Hello world

After 1.5 years in beta, we launched publicly. By then, hundreds of users were already relying on Hypervault daily. The momentum was real.

    Who We Are

Hypervault is developed and maintained by GTS Data bv, founded by Glenn Van Croonenborch, Thierry Dupont, and Sven Böhne. Backed by private investors and guided by a board, we're proud to call Antwerp, Belgium our home.

Belgium isn't just where we're from—it's part of our identity. It's where our product is built, where our data stays, and where we partner with trusted security experts.

We're not a faceless tech company. We're a team of real people solving real problems—just like we set out to do from day one.

We're not here to settle. Our team is always exploring what's next—testing, tweaking, and reinventing. That spirit of curiosity is what keeps us moving forward.
